Guideropes

When a lateral force is applied to a specific part of the conveyor belt and/or there is contamination on the drums, the belt can derail. To prevent this, belts can be fitted with a guiderope that absorbs these lateral forces. 

Guideropes can be made of PVC and TPU. The choice of the material depends on the application and belt material. Guideropes are available in V- and block shape. Most guideropes can also be delivered in a notched version which enables the guiderope to be used with smaller roller diameters.

Besides a large variation in materials and shapes, other variations include sizes, colors and hardnesses.
